Ambassador Team

 

The Darien Chamber Ambassador Team has a prominent position of responsibility acting as primary liaisons for new members and are highly visible at Chamber events.  Ambassadors assist members by introducing them to the benefits and services of membership and serving as a conduit for members to engage in the organization. 

 

The focus of the Darien Chamber Ambassadors is:

 

• To welcome and involve existing members through participation in Chamber sponsored events.

• To assist Chamber staff in recruiting new businesses to join the Chamber.

 

• To visit new members and encourage involvement in the programs offered by the Chamber.

 

• To act as hosts to introduce others.

 

• To greet everyone at social functions, making them feel welcome.

 

• To participate in Ribbon Cuttings for Chamber member businesses and represent the Chamber in a professional manner.

  

Before a candidate can be considered for an Ambassador position, he/she must meet the following prerequisites:

• The potential Ambassador business must be a member in good standing with the Darien Chamber of Commerce for two years. 

 

• Have knowledge of all events hosted by the Chamber.

• One year commitment.

 

• Consistent attendance at monthly lunch meetings which are held the second Tuesday of each month from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm.
