The race will begin and end at Darien Community Park at the intersection
of 71st Street and Clarendon Hills Road.

• The Walk event will be on a separate 1-mile course.
• The first 400 entrants will receive a T-shirt and Goody Bag.
• Packet pick up on race day is between 7 a.m. and 8 a.m.
• Parking is available at Indian Prairie Public Library at:
  401 Plainfield Road, southwest corner of Plainfield Road and Clarendon Hills Road

The Chamber is also proud to offer four cash awards to local Darien
Schools and Youth Organizations, through our corporate sponsors at the Darien Chamber of Commerce.

The awards will be given based on school and youth organization
participation in the 5K run and 1-mile run/walk.

• A $1,000 award will be given to the school that has the highest
  number of participants in the races
• A $600 award will be given to the school that has the second
  highest number of participants
• A $400 award will be given to the school that has the third
  highest number of participants.
• A $500 award will also be given to the youth organization with the
  most participants in the races.

A minimum of 35 participants will be necessary to qualify a school or
youth organization for the awards mentioned above.

Participants may be any individuals who register for the race and list a school or youth organization that they wish to represent.

Each participant may represent only one school and one youth organization.

The Darien Chamber of Commerce would like to encourage area residents to
participate in what will be a fun-filled morning run for our whole community.

We also look forward to the opportunity to benefit the education of our
young people through this event.

For the 5K and 1 Mile

• Trophies will be awarded to the top male and female finisher
• Medallions will be awarded to the 1st and 2nd place male and
  female in the following age categories:
