Paint the Town Pink Battle of the Adirondack Chairs
Darien Chamber Women in Business and the Rotary Club of Darien are excited to present Paint the Town Pink “Battle of the Adirondack Chairs” at the 30th Anniversary DarienFest Celebration. The Rotary Club of Darien has donated one wooden Adirondack chair to the Art Department of the following schools: Lace, Mark Delay, Eisenhower Jr. High, Concord, Cass Jr. High, Elizabeth Ide, Prairieview, Lakeview Jr. High, Hinsdale South and Downers Grove South. We are challenging each school to come up with their unique design to battle against the schools across town during DarienFest weekend September 8-10 at Darien Community Park. At the end of the “Battle of the Adirondack Chairs” on Sunday, September 10th the winners will be announced, the proceeds of the chair with the highest bid will be donated back to the Art Department of that school. All other proceeds will benefit Paint the Town Pink and provide meals to residents in the area going through cancer treatment.
We invite you to place your secret bid online before prior to DarienFest.
